Building Specific Questions

What types of apartments do you offer?

At The Pinnacle of Greenville we offer three styles of apartments; two studio apartments, and one companion suite. Each offers the latest comfort and safety features. Residents may furnish their own rooms or they can arrange for furnished accommodations.

What does each apartment include?

All apartments have their own bathroom with a shower. Every apartment is supplied with a small refrigerator. Companion suites have a kitchenette area with a sink, and some private rooms are also equipped with a kitchenette. Residents are encouraged to furnish/decorate their rooms to their liking. Each apartment is supplied with cable and phone hook ups. We also provide wireless internet throughout the building.

What activities does your facility offer?

The Pinnacle of Greenville has a large community dining room, along with a private dining area, so that you may enjoy time with family when they come and visit. We also have two living areas with comfortable seating, plus a lounge with television. Residents enjoy gathering for movie nights and special events. There is a lovely sun room, as well as two courtyards. We have an activities director that plans different activities for our residents each day, as well as regular holiday and birthday parties. Some of our activities scheduled are movie nights, parties, exercise classes – chair aerobics, outings, music hour, music sing-a-longs, bingo, game times, cards, leisure working on puzzles, crafts, devotionals/church, and more. In addition, in our Memory Care Unit we offer specialized activities such as spa time/manicures, hand massages with aroma therapy, short-story book reading, scripture color pages, matching card games, bean bag toss, music ball toss, and more.

Is it open or assigned seating in the dining room?

Yes, seating is open and we can also help you find a group of people in the large dining room that you may enjoy dining with and making new friends. Residents are also allowed to eat in their room, the smaller dining area, or outside.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, we will make accommodations for meals by request from a physician or family members regarding our residents’ diets.

Can I be served my meal in my room?

Pinnacle residents are encouraged to come out and visit in the dining room at meal times. However, meals may be brought to their room whenever they would like to eat in.

I am planning to move into an Assisted Living Facility soon… what is your room availability?

We recommend getting on our waiting list with a $300.00 deposit. We will contact you when a room is available. When you are contacted you may choose to move in anytime within the next two weeks of notification.

Is there a minimum age of accepted residents?

No, there is no minimum on ages. We welcome residents of any age.

How many hours in a day is a nurse is on staff?

A caring and licensed in-house staff provides personal care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all residents at The Pinnacle of Greenville, including nursing staff on site 24/7.

Do you accept pets?

Yes, we allow pets with a $250 pet deposit, as long as the resident is able to, and agrees to, take 100% care of the pet themselves.

Do you offer religious services on site?

Yes, we provide religious services on site.

Do you manage incontinence?

Yes, we manage incontinence for both bladder and bowel.

Does every room have an emergency response system?

Every resident room and bathroom is equipped with an emergency response system (pull string cord on wall). Every resident is given a call light pendant that they may keep in their room, or carry around with them in the facility. When they press the call light our nursing staff is notified that assistance is needed.

How often does my room get cleaned?

Housekeeping is provided daily. Changing of bed linens is done three times per week, or more often if necessary.

How do I handle my garbage?

The trash receptacles in your room are emptied for you each day.
